Below is information we have been asked to pass on to parents, please follow these instructions as the organisers are very strict on the rules.
THIS INFORMATION BELOW SHOULD BE PASSED INTO YOUR PARENTS / SPECTATORS
Please ensure your players and parents respect the requests of the organizers – as you know we (board members and umpires ) are all volunteers and we run the schools tournament on behalf of England Netball – the safety of the girls and the umpires is the most important thing, to be able to run the tournament smoothly we will need everyone to be supportive of the requests to only have the relevant personnel* on the courts at the correct time.
* Only the specific team coach & substitutes per team per match court side - you must start & stay your defending end - left hand side of the post (not to get in way of umpires). NO PARENTS COURT SIDE.
Any abuse of this request we will reserve the right to deduct 5 points from the school concerned.
We know the through flow of the courts isn’t spectator friendly & the absolute worst part of organizing this tournament is CROWD control – that is where you can help me and my colleagues by asking you students & parents not to abuse the rules and requests! Movement between courts can only take place during the two minute gaps between matches – not half time - UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
There will be a coffee/refreshment van by the main building - girls and parents will not be allowed in the main building - they have access to toilets by the leisure center. |
